EVERYDAY, the question becomes stronger - who are we? why do we exist? what is the meaning of our existence. what makes it worse is the fact that people dont understand my question. they are contented with mixing the definition of their career/happiness/satisfaction with meaning of life. i wouldnt be complaining, if this act of theirs deprives me of companionship in this quest.
i walk alone....without any support.
i was talking to somebody who does tantra. he assured me supernatural exists.
i dont belive him. but he gives me the much needed green signal to go in the quest of the absolute truth.
though initially i just wanted to go in search of the truth - to know whther any absolute truth exists. i am sure of it now. though it does not mean, that absolute truth is synonymous with paranormal truth. so, indeed i am going in search of it.
as i say this, i think it is important i tell the other thing that i discovered too. call it great conspiracy theory. whenever anybody mulls over the question of absolute truth, the whole universe conspires such a way that he is pulled deeper into the intricasies of human relationship. as if the universe conspires against u from finding the absolute truth. perhaps thats why the sacred books talk abt vairagya as a way to find truth....
anyway...let me plan it out

as long as i am- why shd i care abt who made me the me? all i know is that- i am.
sme say there is someone above us all- the all powerful.. omnipresent.. etc. sme say tht there is no such thing.. bt wht s in there for me- i dont care abt ne1 above as long as- i am..

dear matangi,
i indeed respect ur beliefs. infact great many people harboured the same belief as u have, and all of them achieved great success in life. wishing u best of luck

PS: what does i am mean by the way?

you know maybe this absolute question does exist, in fact i am sure it does, but how would the knowledge of it help you in your life now?
it might happen that by spending too much time thinking you will miss out on your own life..

i meant *absolute truth

sorry, just a typo :D

@lena - why does a soldier go and fight for a country, when he knows he could earn more money as a software professional. i mean why does he have to sacrifice his life. ofcourse i understand that i may end up loosing my life ( as in not living to my parents ecpectation, not enjoying as a normal person, and still be called a failure) but look at at enormity of the problem. human race has existed for more than 50000 years and still we hardy know who we are, why we exist in the first place. and why this question is still unanswered. because people are happily living a life, thinking the 50 and hundred years i live, i will live happily....isnt that sad. 50000 years...i cant believe it.

Beautiful thoughts! One of the truths is, we are born alone & we'll die alone. In between, we r just solitary souls. We r just surrounded by other solitary souls & we feel that we aren't alone. This is a kind of illusion. And, just keep doing your job. Concentrate on moving ahead step by step & u'll succeed! :)

i'd be curious to know how you felt about the idea of eternal recurrence - neitzsche's greatest weight.

i'd like to read your book. irorge@hotmail.com

enjoy your journey.

@sreetama....no thats not what i meant.....i am asking whther thats what it means....i am open to all kind of interpretation of life...and i would like to know which is the correct one?
@man in good painting - thanks, i wil visit ur site indeed...
@matangi - but what does "I" mean....I might be beautiful, and great and probably provides meaning to life...but what does it mean....by itself, so to say
@the listener - thank u. being happy is a statement that sounds like a compromise. my sir, says, whenever, there is a true calling of spirit we have to listen to it....anyways...thanks for the support shown in my endeavour...i really need it.....
@steve - eternal recurrence - steve as i said before, i am open to all ideas, but i want to know what is true.....neitszche had to come up with some thing to escape his downright existential and nihilist philosophy right? he might have been correct, but we have to find it...hey and i have send u the invitation....thanks for ur interest in my blog

is truth not just a concept that we use to justify the rules that we have created to understand the world? is it possible that we created the laws of the universe as opposed to having discovered them? is it possible that through the evolutionary process we may one day be able to rid ourselves of our known senses and be able to throw out our 'absolute thruths' like mathematics and geometry? perhaps we don't need time and space after all. the problem with truth is that it defines the way we think. it defines the way we perceive the 'world'. We need new philosophers that will attempt to go beyond these truths and see the world through a different perspective.

steve,
when i use the word truth, i use it as a replacemnt for the word from an objective point of view - for me searching truth has two parts - a) to know whther there is anything such as absolute truth in the first place or not. its non-existence itself might be the greatest truth at all.
think it this way, millions of years and man is no closer to truth. why? because as u rightly said, man probably has created the rule rather than discovering them. and see i am using the word perhaps only. but if man is conditioning the world around with him, with the way he thinks, how did he start thinking in this way in the first place. what conditioned his thinking?
look at the two extremes, there are people out there who simply worship to god to cure them of their diseases and they often get cured, and the other extreme, where the biggest diseases only get cured in a hospital with sophisticated techniques. why does both the thing happen. how could i say one is coincident and not the other?
i keep looking at life, and i realise, why we find it difficult to embrace this extremes together is because of our rationality. but why should we be rational in the first place? why should we limit our thinking to certain rules...why? once we could come out of all these clutches, probably we might step out and go in search of truth
