what does it matter

what does it matter, if u die tomorrow.....the world will just move on fine...well without u....few will shed tears, fewer will remember, but with time, ur existence would have become debatable....

what does it matter....
like dogs, we are born, we eat, we mate, and w die.
In dogs we call it mating. in humans we call it making love.
in dogs we call it intinct. in humans we call it learning.
finally we die, thats the ultimate truth, with all our actions, whatever it may be, making no sense at all.
some prefer, not to question thus, and try to soak each moment in the moment. by finding meaning in love - girl or money or social cause. by finding meaning in the satisfaction of the moment. Conveneinetly forgetting the bigger picture, that it does not matter......
nothing matters....
no action...
no love....
no cause...
finally we all die, and thats how sad life is.......
go, i tell all the people, find a meaning, and live a hypocritic life. put a sham.....but i tell u...it does not matter

Hi, well can i say this rational, well u must hav experienced some thing really bad. u hav compared a human to dog. well a dog mates withs so many dogs in a season, and they smell n taste their own droppings... hey i would like to know what made ur inclination to this philosophy.

oops....not everyphilosophy is autobigraphical...just be logical.....even man is promiscous by nature....
and common, u look at people in sudan and north korea, they are living in worst conditions, eating far worse things...come on...put ur thinking hat....llok at my arguements, rather than think ohh...dogs dont wear dress, we do....dogs dont go to school, we do.....think better than this....we are talking abt more funamental things. just because dogs, have different physiology......just because they have different diet, my arguemnts dont become week.....look at the funda baba...

i feel u r just about close to some 'truth' but yet not that close... let me share one thing tht i believe, because it is on the same lines of this post, however not as drastic.. the fact is, from birth till death, u r one individual, independent piece of mass, no matter wht happens around u, u ll continue to be so till u die.. so then, it's up to u how u put tht 'mass' of urs to use.. death is not the ultimate actuality, life is.. :)

Hey chill i am not arguin those things abt dog was on lighter note, but i dint tell ne thing abt physiology, i just said wht event in ur life made u think like this. when did u realise. i am really not arguing, i just want to know :)

@gauri....aw...u just jumped the gun.....i have been building my arguements, to prove that life is the ultimate truth......ofcourse ur arguements are not tenable, but ur conclusion is right... why i say that ur arguement is not is bcause an individual does not remain the same all through his life.....consider a very hypothetical case ( i prefer taking extreme cases, because if i had taken marginal, it would be too easy to get confused) our souls are interchanged, by some means, that is i become u and u become i, trapped in alien body all of a sudden ....( if u notice, its just a metaphor)....u r no longer u, and i am no longer i, even though the self remains the self....( lets not get metaphysical) but life remains the same.!!!!!!!
@sunny
dear dear!!! i wish u had argued instead...and u could look at ur comment and my comment to see the logical connection between the two...anyway...what made me think like that....? oh! i was just born that way...and i think that way...even before i could think, i thought, probably i will think this way only ;)

@trailblazer - when u look at ur girlfriend...she seems to u the most beautiful woman in the world....u think nothing can surpass her beauty...but the very next second, when u look at her, she seems more beautiful, than ever before.....everytime u look at her, she seems to more beautiful than before....wonder why?
@sunny - am i priviledged!!!

it's a matter of individual choice...u can choose to leave a mark behind after u r gone or just wilt away like a flower...it does matter...and it's a matter of choice!

man....I would surely like to know the context in which the post was written....do reply to me telling me about it and then maybe ill be in a better situation to land up with a comment. Anyway from what I get the point is that death is not the pinnacle. Its just that u keep sliding and then you die. what matters is how you live your life.
cheers

@sujata - and what does it matter - whther u leave a mark or not...[:p] and meaninglessness of life is neither by ur choice or mine.....it simply exists...ofcourse like every other ignorant person, who goes by his or her daily routine, u can ignore it.....what does it matter

it does matter...and yes it does...although I may sound a bit philosophical(read: out of my mind) but we never came to this world to leave it the way we found it. And death aint the ultimate truth. And the zest for living would have been long forgotten if everyone thought so. I admit writing a lot when I am in a bad mood. And maybe that was the case with you. But that does not stop me from living my life. Coz you see there are more better things than what you have left. The way we live matters a lot.
I know that you may be trying to give a new philosophy but I beg to differ on that! :)

@ homer -"but we never came to this world to leave it the way we found it"

says who......

"And the zest for living would have been long forgotten if everyone thought so"

agreed but what does it matter...what is zest and zeal...but our mind's creation......

there is a sanskrit sloka, which means, when a snake bites ur finger, no matter how painful it is, we have to cut the finger, so that poison does not spread to the whole body....similarly, we have to face reality, to find the truth....however bad and unhappy it may sound.....what is the meaning of mere existence - of ours or the future generation....
infact, i would ask, how could we sleep everyday, with the knowledge that life has no meaning, and probably leaving the question to future generation, who will leave it for the future generation, who will finally persih...with human existence wiped, with no knowledge, why it existed in the first place.....
but then what does it matter

sometimes i feel livin s funny with all its rituals like earnin and makin urself popular.. to be true, nobody does care as everyone is busy with tryin the same thing.. death comes ending the boring ritual f life after a long waitin, rather than livin..

Don't they say its the journey that matters and not the destination?

they say a lot of things!!! being a student of psychology u understand better, how are thought process has been conditioned. and we tend to belive them as truth, even without questioning them....guess why? because, some questions are better left unanswered...esp the one, which seems to have no answers......anways, i will tell u why they say so. its because, as i have mentioned many times before, that if we indulge in life, we get satisafction. for eg, if we do social service, our life suddenly seems to be meaningful......but often we fail to see, that it only seems to....the joy is deception....
and such a good deception, that it would last a lifetime...!!!!

i am not trying to be all gloomy abt life, but i just want to say, if we dont know who we are ( outside the social context), we - as in independent of all frame of reference, how can we sleep. probably like others, by conveniently forgetting that question ever did exist
